Welcome to Rotelier (“Rotelier”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rotelier website, mobile application, and all related services, features, content, tools, and functionality provided by Rotelier Collective.
By accessing, browsing, registering, or using Rotelier, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. About Rotelier
Rotelier is a peer-to-peer social fashion marketplace that enables users to rent, lend, buy, sell, showcase, and discover fashion and lifestyle products including apparel, handbags, accessories, footwear, jewelry, and related items.
Rotelier acts solely as an intermediary technology platform that facilitates interactions and transactions between users. Rotelier is not the owner, manufacturer, reseller, or direct supplier of products listed by users unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:

- Be at least 18 years of age; or

- Use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using Rotelier, you represent and warrant that:

- You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements;

- All information provided by you is accurate and complete;
-
- Your use of the Platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. User Accounts
Certain features of the Platform require registration of an account.
You agree to:

- Provide true, current, and complete information;

- Maintain and promptly update your account information;
-
- Keep your login credentials confidential;
-
- Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.
Rotelier reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in suspicious, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or unlawful activities.
5. User Listings & Product Responsibilities
Users may upload, publish, rent, lend, sell, or showcase products on the Platform.
By listing a product, you represent and warrant that:

- You are the lawful owner or authorized user of the product;

- All listing information, images, descriptions, and pricing are accurate;
-
- The product is authentic, clean, wearable, safe, and legally permitted for listing;
-
- The listing does not infringe any intellectual property, trademark, copyright, or other legal rights.
Rotelier reserves the right to remove, reject, edit, or restrict any listing at its sole discretion without prior notice.
6. Prohibited Products & Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from:

- Listing counterfeit, fake, replica, or stolen products;
-
- Uploading misleading or deceptive listings;
-
- Using unauthorized copyrighted images or content;
-
- Harassing, threatening, abusing, or impersonating others;
-
- Conducting transactions outside the Platform to avoid fees;
-
- Uploading unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or offensive material;
-
- Attempting to hack, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Platform;
-
- Using bots, automated systems, or unauthorized tools to access the Platform.
Violation of these Terms may result in account suspension, permanent removal, legal action, or reporting to authorities.
7. Rental Terms
7.1 Rental Period
The rental period begins from the delivery date and ends on the return date mentioned in the order details.
7.2 Security Deposit
Certain products may require a refundable security deposit.
Security deposits may be partially or fully deducted in cases including but not limited to:

- Damage or excessive wear;

- Permanent stains;
-
- Missing parts, tags, packaging, or accessories;
-
- Product loss or theft;
-
- Unauthorized alterations;
-
- Late returns;
-
- Misuse beyond normal usage.
7.3 Return Condition
Users are required to return products in the same condition in which they were received, excluding reasonable wear from normal use.
7.4 Inspection & Damage Assessment
Returned products may undergo inspection by the lender and/or Rotelier.
Users agree that:

- Product condition photos/videos may be used for verification;
-
- Damage assessments may be conducted based on product condition reports;
-
- Rotelier reserves the right to determine fair deductions or penalties in dispute situations.
7.5 Late Returns
Late returns may attract additional daily rental charges or penalties.
Continued failure to return rented products may result in account suspension and legal recovery action.
8. Orders, Payments & Fees
Rotelier uses Razorpay and other authorized payment partners for secure payment processing.
Accepted payment methods may include:

- Debit/Credit Cards

- Net Banking

- Wallets
-
- Other supported payment methods
8.1 Platform Fees
Rotelier may charge:

- Platform fees
-
- Convenience fees
-
- Service charges
-
- Delivery fees
-
- Late fees

- Security deposits
Applicable charges will be displayed during checkout.
8.2 Payment Authorization
By placing an order, you authorize Rotelier and its payment partners to process payments using your selected payment method.
8.3 Non-Refundable Charges
Certain charges, including platform or convenience fees, may be non-refundable once an order is confirmed or delivery has been attempted.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
9.1 User Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled within the permitted cancellation window displayed on the Platform.
9.2 Platform Cancellations
Rotelier reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

- Pricing or technical errors;
-
- Fraud detection;
-
- Policy violations;
-
- Safety concerns;

- Operational limitations.
9.3 Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe depending on banking and payment partner processes.
Rotelier reserves the right to investigate disputes before approving refunds.
10. Delivery & Logistics
Delivery timelines displayed on the Platform are estimates only.
Rotelier shall not be liable for delays caused by:

- Courier or logistics partners;
-
- Weather conditions;
-
- Government restrictions;
-
- Strikes or operational disruptions;
-
- Incorrect user information;
-
- Events beyond reasonable control.
Users are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
11. Identity Verification & Fraud Prevention
Rotelier reserves the right to request identity verification documents, address proof, or additional information for fraud prevention, security, trust, compliance, or dispute resolution purposes.
Failure to provide requested information may result in restricted access or cancellation of transactions.
12. User Content
Users may upload photos, reviews, videos, comments, captions, and other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by uploading content to Rotelier, you grant Rotelier a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, promote, distribute, and publish such content for operational, marketing, promotional, and advertising purposes.
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload.
13. Intellectual Property
All Platform content including but not limited to:

- Logos
-
- Branding
-
- Design elements
-
- Graphics
-
- Text
-
- Software
-
- Features
-
- User interface
-
- Visual assets
are owned by or licensed to Rotelier Collective and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially used without prior written permission.
14. Third-Party Services
The Platform may include integrations or links to third-party services including payment gateways, logistics providers, social media platforms, analytics tools, or external websites.
Rotelier does not control or endorse third-party services and shall not be responsible for their actions, policies, content, delays, failures, or damages.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Rotelier Privacy Policy.
By using Rotelier, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
Rotelier makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:

- Continuous or error-free operation;

- Product quality or authenticity listed by users;
-
- Availability of products;
-
- Delivery timelines;
-
- Fitness for a particular purpose;
-
- Platform security or uninterrupted access.
Users access and use the Platform at their own risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Rotelier Collective, its proprietor, employees, affiliates, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for:

- Indirect or consequential losses;
-
- Loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data;
-
- Product misuse;
-
- User disputes;
-
- Delivery failures;
-
- Unauthorized access;
-
- Technical interruptions;

- Third-party actions or services.
Rotelier’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in relation to the disputed transaction.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rotelier Collective, its proprietor, affiliates, employees, and partners against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, legal expenses, or disputes arising from:

- Your use of the Platform;

- Violation of these Terms;

- User disputes;
-
- Fraudulent activity;
-
- Intellectual property infringement;

- Violation of laws or third-party rights.
19. Suspension & Termination
Rotelier reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate user accounts without prior notice if users violate these Terms or engage in activities harmful to the Platform, community, or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access or use the Platform will immediately cease.
20. Force Majeure
Rotelier shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures resulting from events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:

- Government restrictions

- Internet failures

- Power outages

- Labor strikes

21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
22. Modifications to Terms
Rotelier reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
